VA - Late Night Tales: The Cover Versions (2009)
Looks like we have two birthdays coming up. I was born 13 days after you wrote this song to a 21 year-old mother. I didn't discover until tonight that you wrote Both Sides Now on March 9, 1967, at the age of 21. I have always really like this song for some reason. I knew I heard it when I was very young but didn't realize perhaps another reason I might have been drawn to it: we came into this world at the same time. Hard to believe we'll both be 47 years old and Joni will be . . . . Best wishes for many more.
Animax Asia broadcasted an English dubbed version of the Fairy Tail anime starting on September 30, 2010, but only covered the first season, up to episode 48. It aired in some parts of Asia and in the Philippines, where they initially used the Hong Kong based English dub, but later on changed to the original Japanese audio. The anime series won Animax Asia's "Anime Of The Year" award. Currently, FUNimation Entertainment has been licensed to Fairy Tail for a North American release in English dub[1] and has distributed season 1, season 2 and, currently season 3.
The song acquired major popularity in 1970 thanks to a collaboration between Tito Puente and acclaimed guitarist Carlos Santana. The song made it to Billboard charts and from there took off worldwide. Tito Puente represents the best of classic Hispanic music and has inspired over 15 different cover versions of the song from well-known artists like Julio Iglesias, Natalie Cole, and Celia Cruz.
