Indeed, as with just about any Warriors game, the main focus is the action itself, but even that feels a bit below par. Alongside your standard light, heavy, and special attacks, you've got a handful of team-based mechanics. With your main character at the forefront, you're able to build a team of up to four other warriors who'll fight at their side. For the most part, these allies will be controlled by the computer, but you can temporarily switch to them in the heat of battle or summon them in for a special technique.

Several public and private multiplayer betas were held between July and October 2012.[25][26][27] The multiplayer betas featured a limited roster of characters and stages, and were used to test server loads, matchmaking, and cross-platform play between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.[28][29][30] In late July, files found in one of the multiplayer beta versions of the game pointed to an array of unannounced characters and stages, including levels set in the worlds of Resistance, Uncharted 3, PaRappa the Rapper, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone, LocoRoco, BioShock Infinite and more. An array of character names were also uncovered inside the demo's files, including DmC: Devil May Cry's Dante, Evil Cole from Infamous, Raiden from Metal Gear and others. A number of leaks uncovered the information, which started on Reddit. Resourceful users of the GameFAQs forums and NeoGAF each added more information, which also included a list of in-game items.[31][32] SuperBot producer Chan Park later acknowledged the leak's legitimacy, though he noted that changes had been made since the beta build's development and that the leaked content did not fully reflect the content found within the final game.[33] The last of the leaked characters were officially announced on August 31, 2012.[34][9]

As a 3D game, there was a dodge system along with Dramatic Counter, a special dodging counterattack that slowed the game down on successfully activating it, not unlike a V-Shift. Prior to a match, a player could also perform a Declaration of Victory, where they would taunt an opponent prior to the match. After doing so, they would instantly lose the entire game if they lost a single round, but would receive a score bonus if they won. Atypical for Capcom fighting games was the Dramatic Finish, a cinematic finishing move similar to a Fatality in the Mortal Kombat series that required a successful Declaration of Victory and a complicated input to pull off.

In August 2016, new info and images for the game were added on the Street Fighter V encyclopedia site, including new unreleased posters (some made by Shinkiro, the artist who drawed the promotional arts from Capcom Fighting Evolution and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom) and the full reveal of the final boss Death (who was for many years only seen as a silhouette in one of the game flyers).[6] Takayuki Nakayama has posted various screenshots of the game, including ones of Death, suggesting that the unreleased arcade game still exists within the offices.

There is an extensive list of PlayStation 3 games, but you can only access them via streaming (available to stream on PS4, PS5, and PC in countries where cloud streaming is available). You can find the full list below.

It's great to see these collections grow over time with some great titles available. There are a few shortcomings like many titles still being unavailable that would be great additions. And hopefully someday the ability to buy to own certain titles or collections. It would be cool if, but I doubt Nintendo ever would release a cartridge of the entire service or individual console compilations as they are at some point. Could you imagine say the Super Nintendo Collection getting a physical release and having games like Earthbound on a Switch cartridge? I'll dream. 2ff7e9595c
